Within the scope of the project, approximately 5 km on the Pendik-Kaynarca line and approximately 10 km on the Kaynarca-İçmeler (Tuzla) line, a total of 15 km TBM tunnel construction will be carried out with 6 tunnel boring machines.
Pendik-Kaynarca Line TBM Operation Scenario
In this part of the line, 2 tunnel boring machines will be lowered from the shafts opened between Kaynarca Central Station and Fevzi Çakmak Stations belonging to Sabiha Gökçen Metro Project, and TBM tunnel constructions will proceed in the direction of Pendik Station and will be completed at the Pendik Switch shaft.

TBM Segment Production
The segments to be used for the TBM tunnel lining will be precast at the Arnavutköy Segment Production site and transported from there to the TBM operation site.
